Nobody joins a scheme they have to research. So here is the whole thing on one page, in the order you would actually ask.
One membership. No tiers, no points to collect, no balance to keep an eye on and no expiry date. You join once and it simply runs.
Your key never changes. The lock does. It opens at eight and shuts at ten, and when your key fits, dessert is on us. How the lock works.

Your key never changes. The lock does. Every week it is set to four characters, and any key ending in one of them opens it. The lock opens at eight in the evening and shuts at ten, Sunday to Thursday.

The four characters go out to members by email on a Sunday, and nowhere else. If your key is HD-4K7P23 you are looking for a 3.
Codes end in one of thirty two characters and four of them are live at a time, so every key fits once every eight weeks. Six or seven turns a year, each.
Sunday to Thursday, from eight until ten. We are open until eleven, but the lock is not. Show the key at the till before you order, not at the door.
Walk in, show the key, and if it fits the dessert is on us. You are never buying a chance at anything.
The lock is decided in advance and sent to every member at the same moment. Nobody at the counter can change it, and nobody needs to be asked.
